Cartography

If you were lucky enough to get your hands on a treasure map, you must first decipher it. To do this, you need to know the appropriate level of cartography:

Required skill level for deciphering maps:

  • level 1: 25.0
  • level 2: 45.0
  • level 3: 65.0
  • level 4: 85.0
  • level 5: 100.0

You dig up the treasure by double-clicking on the map and if you are close enough (about 5 steps), the treasure will appear. Otherwise, you will receive a message that the treasure is not there. To dig up the treasure, you also need to have a shovel with you and have sufficient experience with digging (skill mining).

You must open the treasure using a "lockpick", which a Craftsman can make using the tinkering skill.

Ship

The ship is controlled by verbal instructions to the captain. After launching the ship into the water, you will also receive a key to the boarding bridges (they are on both sides in the middle of the ship). These bridges are locked. For the player who has the keys, they can be opened by double-clicking. If the ship is so far away from you that you cannot reach the bridge, double-clicking on the open bridge will move you to it (ATTENTION! if the bridge is open, anyone can get to it this way and then control your ship). After that, you have free movement on the ship. You can slide the bridge in by locking it with a key. The bridge is locked for other players. Teleportation to and from the ship does not work. This ensures that no one will steal it from you if you have it locked. If you get into trouble (cannot get out), use the HelpRoom to leave the ship.

Just as you build a ship, you can also pack your ship. You do this by double-clicking on the helmsman and the ship will be stored in your scroll again. This is only possible if you are the owner of the ship and you are standing on the shore in close proximity to the helmsman. If you fail to do this, try to drive the ship's stern onto the shore, so to speak, so that the helmsman is as close as possible. At the same time, make sure that no items are left in the ship. If they remain inside, they are irretrievably deleted when the ship is transformed.

WARNING: The ship, as is generally known, is quite susceptible to damage. In practice, it may therefore happen that it disappears (sinks) and you cannot find it, or it gradually begins to fall apart or someone falls out of the ship (for example, the helmsman). This is a feature, not a bug. So do not expect any compensation from the GM, simply buy a new ship or make the most of the opportunity to pack the ship back into the deed.

Teleportation gates - Moongate

Teleportation gates, or Moongates, can be found freely in nature. With their help, you can move to even very distant places. They work according to the phases of the moon, you could say "randomly". That's why they may send you to identical places for a while and then, maybe on the tenth try, to a different place. However, apart from the great fun you can have with them, they are also a very useful assistant when discovering new places.
